Format
Three-hour webinar including theoretical presentations with clinical examples and discussions with participants.
Goals
- Recognize more quickly the signs of the presence of pathological personality issues in clients/users by observing their behaviors;
- Understand the pitfalls and obstacles that the psychological and behavioral functioning of these people creates in the physical rehabilitation process and in their lives;
- Understand the compensatory (pathological) relational mode that enables the person to maintain a certain level of functioning by anesthetizing their painful emotions;
- Understand the emotional and cognitive disturbance that this psychological and behavioral functioning creates in the therapist;
- Learn more productive communication and intervention styles, in a physical rehabilitation context, according to the different pathological personality issues.
